NBC Pulls 'Best Friends Forever' From Schedule

NBC has pulled the plug on midseason comedy Best Friends Forever, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Created by Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair, who also star, the half-hour series bowed in early April to 4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demo before dipping in the ratings.

"BFF Fans: Wanted to let you know that our show is being taken off the air until the summer. Hoping to post ep 5 & 6 online asap. We love u," Parham wrote Friday afternoon on Twitter. She followed up by thanking the viewers: "I CANNOT thank you enough for the love and support of our little show. You guys are truly the best."

Next week, an original episode of hidden-camera series Betty White's Off Their Rockers will air in BFF's Wednesday 8:30 p.m. slot. No airdates have been set for the show's two remaining episodes.
