1 Hour, 35 Minutes

After delays, numerous reshoots and bad reviews leading up to it’s final cut that actually hit theatres, somehow Dan in Real Life ended up being a pretty good movie, despite my distaste for the pot-Daily Show Steve Carell.

QUALITY:
Bad.  Very inequitably and unexplainably bad.  The picture is grainy, spotty and old looking at the best of times and the sound is filled with ambient noise and static.

BONUS FEATURES:
Outtakes, featurettes, commentary and deleted scenes.

OVERALL:
They somehow defied the odds and released a decent movie after all the bad hype just to scale it back again with an extremely bad transfer.  Picture and sound don’t make a movie but it can certainly take away from a good movie.
