For those of you who missed Evan Almighty as it made its way across big screens everywhere here is your excuse to go out and rent or buy this jam packed DVD. The film comes in a beautiful anamorphic widescreen presentation (or full screen if you enjoy paying the same price as the widescreen version but getting less picture for your money) with many different sound and subtitle options including some really special ones you wont find on most DVD’s. *Evan Almighty comes with an audio DVS option (Descriptive Video Service) for the blind as well as an English SDH subtitle option for the deaf or hard of hearing that labels each piece of dialogue with the name of the person who is speaking.

The Evan Almighty DVD is packed with bonus features that really bring the value of the DVD to a new level. Over fifteen minutes of deleted scenes, Outtakes, and documentary segments that cover the film including; The Ark-itects of Noah’s Ark, Becoming Noah, Animals On Set Two by Two, The Almighty Green Set, It’s Easy Being Green, Acts of Random Kindness, A Flood of Visual Effects, Casting Call: Serengeti. Also included is a thank you note from the film makers to those who participated in the Almighty Forest campaign to plant a tree in the forest, An interactive game titled Animal Roundup, and a candid look at Steve Carell in Steve Carell Unscripted. All the bonus features are just as inspiring as the film and hilarious.
