Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels (Locked ‘N Loaded Director’s Cut)

Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels

On DVD:
Tuesday, October 3, 2006
Running Time:
120 minutes

Awesome fucking movie; but is it worth buying yet another version? Not when the special edition version is like this. The footage has not been re-mastered and to me it almost looked a little worse than the other DVD release. On the original release you were treated to the following bonus features: a Production Featurette, Cockney Dictionary, Cast & Fimlmakers, and the U.S. & U.K. trailers.

For some reason they did not put those bonus features on this release. Instead you get “One Smoking Camera” where you can listen to the cinematographer talk about how he shot the film and the storyboards and “Lock, Stock, And Two F**king Barrels” which is a montage of all the cussing, violence, and guns throughout the movie. They did add 12 minutes to the movie; but having not seen the original in sometime I didn’t even notice it. My recommendations are if you already own don’t worry about this second release. If you don’t own it well you need to decide which bonus features sound more appealing and go with that one. The double-dipping, will it ever end?
