Marcelo Zarvos: Enough Said Original Motion Picture Score
Marcelo Zarvos’ score for Enough Said is a short 25+ minute affair that starts off pretty well with its introduction of Eva and Albert. A gloomy number that instantly had me imagining what the film would be about. From brief peek I had of the film it seemed to be a love story between two very average people. This track made me think that maybe the film starts off showing the two leads as glum desperate people who are looking for a connection.

The next track, Good Date, is a much livelier and happy little tune that makes me think that maybe it doesn’t take too long for the connection between two people who need love to come together quickly. Weather or not that’s the case, that is where my mind took me.

As I listened to the album, a totally of three times just to make sure I was sure how I felt about it, I determined that Zarvos’ score is beautiful, imaginative, but all together forgettable. Chalk this up to the score be resounding 29 tracks and the entirety of it falling in at just under 26 minutes. It seems to get the job done, you will enjoy listening to it, but when it’s over you’re hard pressed to recollect more then a couple of songs that were memorable.

In short, Zarvos’ score for Enough Said is a good one, not great, but well put together. Unfortunately its short but sweet, leaving you to forget about the score and the film (if you haven’t seen it) once the album ends.
