Nat Geo Wild takes us back into the water with Monster Fish, season 5, as Zeb Hogan leads us on a journey to see some of the world's biggest, most dangerous and sometimes most elusive fish. Tune in tonight for the season premiere.

If you thought you were safe from sharks because you avoided the ocean, think again. In an upcoming episode (which one, I'm not sure, the copy I got was a pre-air version and what I saw doesn't line up exactly with anything on their schedule) Zeb introduces us to some river sharks. Now, in the US you are probably still safe, but in Australia, the country that is literally trying to kill you the moment you set foot upon it, you could run into bull sharks or the fairly rare speartooth shark. The speartooth is the big goal of the episode as they wish to capture one to add to an aquarium display for study since they've been to rarely observed, especially into adulthood.

Future episodes look to be tackling giant rays, goldfish, aligators, swordfish and sawfish, catfish, eels, and more. Basically, if it's in the water and it gets big, they will probably cover it eventually.

The show is very well done, giving the audience a lot of facts about the fish they run into, and it is safe viewing for all ages. Monster Fish should definitely be on the watch list for anyone who loves the water and the animals that call it home.
