This year marked many milestones for the popular medical comedy, Scrubs. It would be the first year since moving from NBC to ABC as well as the last for some of the regular cast. In addition, it is the first to be broadcast in HD, something perfectly fit for a Blu-ray release.
QUALITY:
The picture quality is crisp although the colors appear somewhat dull. That could be because of the set though. There are even flashback sequences in "My Finale" that make scenes from the first season look fantastic. This is the best Scrubs has ever looked.
BONUS FEATURES:
16 Commentaries, "It's All in the Name" featurette, "My Bahamas Trip" featurette, Deleted Scenes, Alternate Lines, Bloopers, and all 12 Interns Webisodes.
The Blu-ray is also enhanced with SeasonPlay which allows you to create a profile and watch the entire season, picking up wherever you leave off. In addition, all bonus features are shot in 1080p so nothing is wasted. The entire show has been shot in the 16:9 aspect ratio since it aired in 2001 so don't be surprised to see previous seasons re-released in HD. This is a great addition to any Blu-ray collection.
