When Michael and his parents move to a new house anticipating the arrival of a new baby Michael finds a strange man living in the shed behind their house. Its not long before he realizes that the man he knows only as Skellig is special as magical things begin to occur. Skellig The Owl Man is a heart wrenching film about faith, family, and friendship. Based on award winning book Skellig by David Almond.

QUALITY:
Picture quality is fantastic. The rural scenery in the film is pleasing to the eye with its green landscapes and interior shots are vivid and crisp. Transition from day to night is not effected by white static or decolorization. The opening scene of the film is a flock of birds flying in unison. Its just breath taking and to be quite honest so detailed and crisp its dizzying. Your going to love the picture quality. Sound comes at you in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 which I found was unbalanced between the films soundtrack and the dialogue. I had to push my surround sound a little higher then usual to get the dialogue just right but then the soundtrack volume was a little heavy. Its not a huge problem but the balance there could have been better.
