SHOW PLOT:
Once again the South Park kids are taking their brand of odd and at times cruel justice to the streets and to the mall. With having to compete with each other for the first and best console system on Black Friday sales to having to having to figure out how to stop the adults from killing each other. Join the gang of Cartman, Kenny, Kyle, Stan, and the rest for one odd and funny seventeenth season of South Park.

THE SEASON:
Season Seventeen follows the main kids, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny, Butters and all the supporting cast as they do some more outrageous acts that are funny and at times shocking. Now I say shocking because if you have watched even just one episode of South Park you will know that the creators have no problem taking on any issue that might be current and putting a demented twist on it that also has hints of realism. They also have been able to keep the show having a view from a childs perspective, well one that is really crazy and insane, but still pretty funny. How they have been able to keep the show funny and current is what makes South Park continue to appeal to viewers as well as continue to get new seasons.

This season has to be one of the best of the newest seasons of the show that I've seen. My favorite episodes were the ones about Black Friday, a three part story that takes the town of South Park and splits it in half as the kids fight over which console system to buy. For me the best character and what made these episodes funny was the guy in the window that was always yelling at Cartman and trying to ruin his plans. There's also Kenny becoming a princess where the animation changes to the style of anime but works so well. Still not having any worries about the topics that use for the episodes, this season of South Park was really entertaining. There's only 10 episodes for this season, which passes by really fast because the shows are only over 20 minutes long and with them being so funny I had to watch one after the other. It's amazing that a show that has been on for so long is still able to keep my attention with the episodes and make me laugh as much as I did while watching it.

BLU RAY LOOK:
On Blu Ray South Park looked really good with the sharp colors and the detail being used. It's still a show that using drawings to but the lines are sharp and the picture quality is very sharp. It's amazing how well this show looks on Blu Ray considering it's only a cartoon but it has no grain, no noise, or any flaw that I could find in the picture or colors. The only flaw I saw is that the special features  are only commentaries and deleted scenes. Even the packaging of it is done well by having the 2 discs on their one side with one side that has the list of episodes for the whole season.
