Chunk of Change is a three song EP from New York trio Ten Ton Man. The album is a mix of bluesy Parisian jazz rock (just throwing that together from what I took from the album). All in all, not a bad trio of songs that offer up themes and conclusions within a somewhat interesting world within the music.

The first song on the album is the title track which features a moody accordion beneath a cowboy like motif of deep baritone gruff and a lonely guitar accompanied by an accommodating bass. Fans of Johnny Cash and old westerns will more then likely fall in love with this track.

Fine Line follows with a smooth Reverend Horton Heat like feel that’s mixed with blues, an accordion accompaniment that is more reminiscent of Ray Manzarek’s keyboard work with The Doors, and a moody bass line that just flows fluid between the smarmy feel of the track.

Finally you have the EP closer What To Do. This strikes closer to home for me with a more raw organic feel to it that just oozes sincerity. A good closer that I would suggest checking out if you check any of the three tunes out. Really good.
