The Chronicles of Riddick was a horrible movie...when it first came out.  It came out as a high budget sequel to a brilliant low budget movie (that being Pitch Black).  The smart move would have been to do a more futuristic action/crime movie as a prequel, showcasing the life of Riddick before the events of Pitch Black.  Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.

QUALITY:
Great.  The picture quality is actually one of the best I've seen and the sound is absolutely rattling.

BONUS FEATURES:
Introduction, deleted scenes, featurettes, commentary, and on and on.

The bonus features are a bit tedious to sift through and not all that entertaining but the movie has been transferred with great clarity and lossless sound.  If you like Pitch Black and you haven't seen this movie yet, do your self a favor and watch it as if it is unrelated and you will enjoy it much more as a big budget sci fi movie than a sequel to a low budget one.
