The Cleveland Show

When I first seen there was going to be a spinoff of Family Guy I thought “Man, how much money does Seth MacFarlane need?” That’s pretty the same response to American Dad, which now I enjoy watching, almost as much as Family Guy itself. So I sat down and watched Cleveland Show, I might have missed a few episodes here or there but the season helped.

From the opening songs to the talking small child, you think Family Guy! But The Cleveland Show has its own quirks that Family Guy does not have, like a talking Canadian bear. So as I sat through the first season of The Cleveland Show, I started to actually like it, the character was always a likable one and it turns into a good show using him and other players. Of course MacFarlane stepped in and does a few voices, only one of the main voices. Most of the voices are from Mike Henry (Cleveland) and Kevin Michael Richardson.

The box set has some bonus features; it has “Meet Cleveland” which is behind the scenes and beginnings of the show. There is also “getting your hump on” and the Making of. It also includes a live table read for episode “Brotherly Love” with Kanye West.
