Artist: Misser Album: Every Day I Tell Myself I'm Going To Be A Better Person Members: Tom Landers, Brad Wiseman Genre: Rock Label: Rise Records Tracks: 13 Type: Digital Release Date: May 15, 2012 Rating: ( )Grade: A- Misser is the duo of Tim Landers and Brad Wiseman, Each member is originally from another band, but each person thought it would be a cool idea to do an album together. “Every day I tell myself I’m going to be a better Person” is the band’s debut LP after the EP they released in 2011 entitled, “Problems, problems, problems.” They are both very talented musical artist that work really well together. The album had good instrumentals, good vocals, and good lyrics. The songs in general were very catchy and there was a good variety of songs on this album. Whether the song was fast paced, like on “The Reconnect,” or slower, like on “Stay Asleep” and “Sanity,” Misser sounded really good and the songs were high quality. Each band member had a different vocal style, but they worked really well together because they had such a nice contrast. I enjoyed listening to this album and highly recommend it because you do not hear good albums like this these days. For those reasons, I am giving this album and Misser an “A-.” |
