Title: After.Life Genre: Horror Starring: Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson, Justin Long Director: Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo Studio: Starz / Anchor Bay Runtime: 104 minutes Release Date: August 3, 2010 Format: BLU-RAY MPAA Rating: Rating: ( )Grade: C After.Life answers the pivotal question, "What does it mean to truly be alive?" If you just go through the daily motions and not putting any thought to it, are you really living? That's exactly what funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) asks the people who come into his business. You see, he has the special ability to communicate with the deceased and help them ease their way into death. At least that's how it seems... QUALITY: BONUS FEATURES: The bonus features are especially weak. The "making-of" feature, while interesting because it explains many of the little details of the film, isn't anything new. There aren't any deleted scenes or anything else fans would want to see. Overall, the film is decent enough for a rental but you can't help but feel the Blu-ray is wasted with so little features. |
