A group of U.S. military are working on a new simulator that helps out in training for combat and missions. Needing a weekend to relax the group takes the equipment to have fun playing war games instead. Set up in an abandoned prison nearby they hope to stay under the radar of supervisors and be able to do as they please. But odd things start happening within the game and soon they all realize that death in the game can mean death in real life. They will have to rush against time to discover what is able to reach across the lines of reality and virtual reality if they are to save their friends and themselves.

When it came time to write this review I realized that I remember very little about it at all. I read the back of the case and from the synopsis given things started to come back, team that up with the notes I took it began to come back to me. What could have been a cool story with a ghost inside a computer killing people in a virtual world to exact revenge ended up being well forgettable. My notes say boring, predictable, there was no chemistry between the characters. The only interesting part, the ghost received very little development which is the one thing that might have saved this movie from being just another well below average sci-fi thriller to something I would suggest renting if you had nothing else to do.

Pass on it, you have seen this type of movie before I’m sure and done better or at least slightly worse but in a cheesy amusing way. This one takes itself way too seriously to work in that manner.
