Title: Josh Groban: An Evening in New York City Genre: Live Music Starring: Josh Groban Runtime: 66 minutes Release Date: June 9, 2009 Format: DVD Rating: ( )Grade: A Josh Groban has wonderful talent. His voice is like some angelic melody that will captivate any audience. His performace in New York City is captivating. At first glance, everything seems so very simple. Aside from the orchestra on stage, all that's there is a seat and a microphone for Groban. My first impressions were that this would be one of the most boring concerts I've seen. Once he gets going though, you become entranced into the music and his voice. This is an experience where you simply need to sit back, relax, and let the music come to you. While Groban is the only one you'll hear sing (aside from a few backups in one song), he'll have plenty of musical performances to accompany him. I'd definitely recommend anything from Josh Groban right now. His music is awe inspiring and everyone should listen to it at least once in their life. |
