Amazon Studios released a new trailer for its upcoming series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, based on the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. The trailer premiered during The Lord of the Rings San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H.
The trailer features a young Galadriel, portrayed by Morfydd Clark, front and center as well as glimpses of many other main characters from the various races of Middle Earth as they stand and fight against the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron. The series is set thousands and years before the events of The Lord of the Rings during the Second Age.
The Rings of Power will premiere September 2 on Prime Video.
