COMICS IN THE MOVIES AND TELEVISION:
If you haven't seen it or don't know it yet, the newest Superman or I should say Man of Steel trailer is out to watch. I have to say I'm impressed with the way this newest Superman movie is looking so far. At first I didn't quite like the idea of Superman taking on a darker tone but at time goes by the idea is growing on me. Especially now that I have seen the latest trailer showing how this one looks like it's actually set in a more realistic world.
There are some key points in the trailer that I liked instantly. One being the beard but to be truthful the beard is cool cause I have one as well. But this rough looking side to Superman, well maybe Clark Kent, then again at this point he could be going by his Kyrptonian name Kal El. Not that it matters, what does it that the looks shows that he is not that shy, young, guy that don't know what he's doing. This is someone that looks like he don't care and won't take anything from anyone. The other thing that I noticed that I liked the most was Jonathan Kent’s line, which I won't say on here just in case you haven't watched it and don't want the spoiler but let me tell you this, it's a shocking line. At least it was shocking to me that Pa Kent said something like that. Now talked to some people already about this one line and some didn't even notice, a few said they didn't know that it would be shocking that he said it, and a few was like yeah, that's some crazy thing for Jonathan Kent to be saying. This movie just might turn out to be really good, I hope.

Superman wasn't the only one making news in the movie world this week, Wolverine made some news as well with the release of the newest posters. One is normal, one is an animated one with rain. On the poster it shows Wolverine/Logan kneeling while holding a sword with one hand and his other has the claws snikted out. It looks cool, really cool in fact, but I think it would have been a lot cooler if they had his claws popped on the hand holding the sword rather than the one just laying on his leg.
This poster is cool because if they are doing his days as a samurai that would be really cool. Showing his early days as he is learning how to fight, what he did while overseas, it's what I have wanted to see. The first movie was only good because it was Wolverine but it wasn't what me or anyone I know wanted it to be. With this second one they have the chance to take what they did wrong with the first one, loose that, and create a movie that will show why this character is such a badass.
By the way, that's not a poster but Jackman really does look like Wolverine there.
