The Unborn

Ok, I get it.  'The Ring' was a decent movie.  It was different.  It wasn't your typical American slasher flick.  Remaking an Asian horror movie worked so why not try again?  But, after a slwe of failed attempts and nearly a decade in between, why keep trying?  Now that slasher movies have returned (thanks, in no small part, to 'The Unborn' producer Michael Bay's 'Friday the 13th' and 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'), I think it's time to sidestep these for a little while.
