Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs took to the stage alongside directors Alfonso Cuarón and J.J. Abrams and actor Chris Pine to announce the nominations for the 87th Annual Academy Awards this morning at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2015 with actor Neil Patrick Harris hosting the show for the first time.
