NEWS HAPPENING IN THE COMIC BOOK WORLD:
Remember a magazine called Wizard? Yeah, that one, the one that let us know what was going on with comic books, movies, TV shows, and even had a price guide along with all other sorts of fanboy goodness. Well, finally after nearly 2 years later there’s finally another magazine about to come out next Wednesday that will be about comics, movies, TV shows, and well not sure what other goodies but it don’t matter cause it’s coming out. That would be the Bleeding Cool magazine and I can’t wait to get the official first issue (though technically they already kind of had a first issue).
Did you get your issue of Suicide Squad #14 this week? If now you might want to find out quickly if there are any left at the shops because they are either gone or probably near gone. This book is a tie-in to the story "Death of the Family" that's going through the Batman titles where the Joker returns. Not only that but the book has the die cut cover with the Joker face on the front and Harley Quinn's face under it. I was looking on ebay and some are going pretty cheap but they also go up to $60 (though the higher prices are ones with 10 and 50 copies of the title) but the point is it's been out 3 days now and it's selling for twice the cover price. That means by next week it will probably be going for around $15 at comic shops, that is if you can find it. Bottom line is if you don't have it, you want it, then you better go out to look for it and if you're lucky you might find one. COMICS IN THE MOVIES AND TELEVISION:
So the holiday season is upon us, that means it's time to do some shopping and nothing makes a better gift than a movie based off a comic book. There's a lot of them out there and some that are brand new that would make for a great gift and with the Black Friday sales coming up next week I'm sure there will be some really cheap prices.
