Batman Gets New Sidekicks while Jupiter has a Legacy and we get new Kick Ass Wolverine Trailers

NEWS HAPPENING IN THE COMIC BOOK WORLD:
SPOILERS ABOUT BATMAN SO BEWARE I SAID SPOILERS ABOUT BATMAN (IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT DAMIAN ALREADY THAT IS THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BUT IF YOU KNOW THEN NO REAL SPOILERS REALLY)
By now I imagine that most people already know what happen to Damian Wayne, if not and you don't care about the spoilers warning I gave you than that means you want to know and are reading this. So he's dead. That's not the news so you the bloggettes that are reading this don't need to worry about me saying that's news. What is the news is what's going to happen with the Batman & Robin title with Robin no longer being around. The comic will be going by the title of Batman and..., with the first 2 issues, #19 & 20 being Batman and the Red Hood, then with issue #21 Batman and Batgirl, and so on with that similar format. Bascially it looks like it will be a team up style book for Batman and if done right that could be pretty cool.

The once titled creator owned miniseries Jupiter's Children has a new title, Jupiter's Legacy. This title has slipped by me some but it's caught my attention enough that I'm going to somehow find a way to pick it up when issue #1 comes out in April (we're a week away from that month). It's Mark Millar's creator-owned Millarworld title that I'm thinking will be a pretty good series, at least one that might end up being a hard to get title. Drawn by Frank Quitely, he's drawn such books as Dark Horse Presents, JLA: Earth 2, The Authority, All-Star Superman, and even New X-Men. It's mainly because of Frank Quitely that I will be picking up the book, though being Mark Millar is writing it only adds to the appeal, but when I read the quote that Mark Millar made where he said that it was going to be "his Star Wars" and a big crossover.

COMICS IN THE MOVIES AND TELEVISION:
I'm now even more excited about Kick Ass 2. Why? Well, other than it being Kick Ass 2, there's a trailer out for it now and to put it in a term that's fitting, it's kick ass. This trailer, well the international one that I watched with all the cussing, makes me think the movie will be just as good as the first movie and will follow along with the comic series as well. Lets hope so anyways because if this one don't do too well than who knows if they will make a movie from the Hit Girl mini series and there's also Kick Ass 3 about to come out next month.

Not to be out done, The Wolverine has a trailer out and I got to say I'm impressed. I was fearing this movie will being horrible like the first one was but it looks like they learned from their mistakes. We get to see some cool characters (I leave un-named in this blog because I don't want to spoil it) but I got to say I'm pretty impressed with the look. I love the way Wolverine is shown at the start of the trailer and can't wait to find out the full reason as to why he is that way. But better yet I can't wait to see some more of his past and hopefully it will be more than those few second glimpses we where given in the first movie.
