Twilight Thursday: Vol. 1 Issue 5

Check out this amazing video some Peter Facinelli fans put together!

My favorite line? "Nothing rhymes with Jenny Garth"!!

PFach some how found out and thanked them in a tweet!

This is one of the things I *LOVE* about Twitter. It allows a close & more immediate connection with fans & celebs. You get hear what they want to say; filtered or lack thereof.

Alex Meraz also tweeted this picture of himself with the message,
"Staying in to paint tonight! My new years resolution is to have an art show and invite you ALL."

That's not the only thing Alex's been up to. Check out Alex with Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones, BooBoo Stewart, Justin Chon, Gil Birmingham in this PSA to help the Lakota Sioux - Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe recover from this winter's devastating storms.

Remember that Robsten/RobStew/Kristinson rumor from last week? That Pattinson admitted in after BAFTA interview that he & Kristen are an item? Well twilighters, always take a big dash of sea salt with your rumors. Gossip Cop is here to ferret out the truth!
"Gossip Cop verified with the reporter — more than once over the course of a few hours — what was and wasn’t said on Sunday.

The reporter told Gossip Cop Pattinson “didn’t say ‘we are a couple,’” adding that “he wasn’t going to spell it out in great detail.”

What the reporter did ask during the post-BAFTAs dinner, where Pattinson was several feet away from Stewart for this Q&A, was, “Is this a public appearance together?”

The reporter told Gossip Cop Pattinson replied, “We are together.”

When Gossip Cop pressed him on whether Pattinson’s response meant he and Stewart were a couple, the reporter said, “That’s my assumption from what he said.”

OK, so Pattinson never actually said they were “a couple.”

The Sun claims Pattinson “admitted” he and Stewart were a couple. But that is not the case.

This isn’t to say Pattinson and Stewart are or are not a couple."
What do you think? Is Robsten real? Do you care?
I know I get tired of the tabloid fest. This is probably as close as any one will ever get and that's really fine by me. What they do with their private lives, I don't feel entitled to know (and often don't want to know!). I cannot deny, however, that it would be very cute if it were true. I certainly couldn't blame them! How could you look into a gorgeous face day after day, spouting all the romance Twilight is known for and not get a little bit of crush?!

If you don't have the soundtrack, you should definitely pick it up. It's truly fantastic.

Post this Eclipse widget on any social networking site or website for a cool countdown!

Really pumps up the anticipation!
Or maybe could you use a boost?

According to

eclipsemovie.org Eclipse t-shirts are now for sale on the Wal-Mart site

And for $9, a very good fandom buy, but don't click too quickly
"Apparently it’s out of stock, but coming soon!  Some area Wal-Mart stores are reportedly carrying the shirts inside stores. If they aren’t available in your area now, trust me in a few short weeks they will be!"
For a more...interesting fandom buy, Eternal Twilight tanning lotion

....But vampires don't tan...Even Twilight vampires stay out of the sun when they can....*headscratch*

The March 20th release of the New Moon DVD is creeping ever closer! TNT has released a deleted scene from the film.

What do you think of it? Should it have been left in? Voice your opinion in the comments!

Robert Pattinson is being immortalized--in wax!

The RPattz likeness will be on display starting March 25 in Madame Tussuads in both New York and London.  Artists have been working for six months to capture the essence of Rob

Any time and every time I talk to anyone about "New Moon", the one scene they'll say they did not enjoy was Alice's flash forward of Bella & Edward running through the woods in turn of the last century attire, as Bella's newly vamped skin glitters in the sunlight. Well, it turns out fans are not the only ones who didn't care for this scene.

In an interview with

BuzzSugar, Chris Weitz (New Moon director) lists this regret,
When you go back and watch it again, are there things you’d like to change if you could?
I would like to never have shot Rob and Kristen running through the forest and Kristen’s just turned into a vampire. Because everybody always laughs and it makes me feel terrible. [Laughs] I would have shot it a different way so it wouldn’t get that response. But otherwise, I’m very happy with things.

It looks like Summit wants to save David Slade that embarrassment. They've replaced the former Eclipse editor Art Jones with Nancy Richardson. The
EW Hollywood Insider reports,
The studio is not placing blame on Jones, who previously worked with Eclipse director David Slade on his horror film 30 Days of Night as well as Slade’s Ellen Page-starrer Hard Candy. They do believe, however, that Slade’s material – which they call “very good” – needed a stronger edit. The studio has more confidence in Richardson, who they say understands the emotion of the characters and is an ace at balancing action with the other elements of the film.
That's not the only change. This extremely disappointing news comes via TwilightSource.com. Muse will not be on the "Eclipse" soundtrack.
The news is surprising given the band is pals-y with Eclipse's director, David Slade (he helmed loads of Muse's early videos), and possibly pals-ier with Stephenie Meyer (there's even a photo of lead singer Matthew Bellamy cozying up to Twilight's dark-ish mistress on Muse's official site).

"Oh, it’s nothing to do with Stephenie, she’s totally cool," says Howard, beginning to explain how Muse have potentially broken their Twilight hat-trick. "It’s the people in the movie business, completely outside of the writers and the creative types, the non-creative types I suppose are the people who are quite hard to deal with in Hollywood, so it didn’t work out."

As for the original tune in question, which remains untitled, Howard says it would have fit Eclipse like Edward on Bella -- even though it wasn't directly inspired by the books or movies. "It was a love song, so it’s a personal song, and it wasn’t really to do with the films. But it was sounding good," he says.

Muse still plans to release it, says Howard, even if you won't hear it on the Eclipse soundtrack. (Maybe you can just play it over the make-out scenes once the flick hits DVD.) "Yeah, yeah, we sure will [release it]. I mean, it was great. We worked on it in Australia, we were ready to record, we were going to do some recording with Butch Vig, so we might still do it," he says. "I’m sure the song will definitely come to life for real at some point, but I think for this film it’s not going to happen."

This is very disappointing to me. I've loved Muse for many  years. Their theatrical, lush music has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I can recall when I first read the Twilight series, I would literally hear their songs in my head as I imagined Bella & Edwards larger than life romance. However, I can't be mad about a new track! Bring it on boys!

What's even closer than March 20? March 12! The official release date of Pattinson's "Remember Me" and the Eclipse trailer. With that on the agenda, RPattz made a media round this week appearing on The Daily Show, The Today Show, The View and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
