Transformers, Jack Daniels, Mad Men & Wereth 11 nominated for HPA

What do Transformers: Dark of the Moon, AMC's Mad Men, National Geographic's 'The Wereth Eleven' and a Jack Daniels commercial have in common?  They are all part of this year's class of 2011 HPA Award nominees.

Though the Academy Awards dabble in a little post production recognition, the HPA (Hollywood Post Alliance) specifically honors those that work on film, television and commercials after all the sets and stars have left the house, often adding explosions, backgrounds, correcting muttled voices and more.

HPA Award winners will be announced on November 10 during an evening gala at Skirball Center in Los Angeles.
