Indie icon Kevin Smith has signed on to direct his first major studio film, starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in Warner Bros "A Couple of Cops".

The movie, formerly titled "A Couple of Dicks", will be Smith's first project that he is not writing.  Centering around a pair of cops tracking down a stolen baseball card, "A Couple of Cops" formerly had Robin Williams and James Gandolfini attached to star.

Kevin Smith and Bruce Willis were seen together in the most recent Die Hard addition, Live Free or Die Hard.
