Artist: Our Lives in Motion Album: Stages Members: Dave Beaudreau, Tony Langone, Camden Harrison, Jeff Amadei Genre: Rock Label: Unsigned Tracks: 6 Type: Digital Release Date: May 3, 2011 Rating: ( )Grade: A Interesting Tidbits Our Lives in Motion's Producer, Brooks Paschal, has produced albums for other bands such as Paramore and There For Tomorrow. Our lives in Motion is back with their second EP and its entitled, “Stages.” The guys from Our lives in Motion are from Worchester, MA and all have a lot of talent. To my surprise, they are currently unsigned. “Stages” was an awesome EP that was full of great songs. In addition, there are no weak links in this band and everyone excels at what they do best. The guitar and bass playing was best showcased on the song “Decadence.” The drums were crazy on “Strangers of the Night.” Lastly, Dave Beaudreau’s vocals had great range and were flawless on all of the songs. Everyone completes the puzzle to this band and they sound so well together. The only gripes I had were the facts that this band is still unsigned to a major record label and they didn’t have enough songs to listen to. These guys are great and are ready for the big time. From the instrumentals to the soothing vocals and great lyrics to their pacing on the EP, they did everything right. My favorite songs on the EP were “Recovery” and “The Rescue.” By the end, I was asking for more songs because I wanted to hear more from them. Their songs are ready for the radio and TV and these guys know what they are doing. For those reasons, I am giving “Stages” an “A” with a HUGE recommendation. Our Lives in Motion should keep up the good job with making great music. |
