Transatlantic is a band. More Never Is Enough is the fourth live album by that band. If you buy it, you'll get 3 CDs and 2 DVDs. This isn't a review of the CDs, just the DVDs. But really, there isn't much difference.

The band, Transatlantic, is a progressive rock supergroup consisting of Roine Stolt of The Flower Kings, Pete Trewavas of Marillion, Mike Portnoy formerly of Dream Theater and Neal Morse formerly of Spock's Beard. If that means anything to you, you probably already love Transatlantic. Me, on the other hand, I've heard of Dream Theater (I own an album of theirs that I have never listened to) and the rest are unknown. But hey, that's prog rock. They don't get a lot of radio air play, nor do they score high on the charts, and you won't find them on those hits collections. If you like it, you seek them out, and you aren't seeking them out you won't know them until a friend makes you listen to something because they think it is the most awesome thing ever. Ev-ver.

The DVDs of this set are a pretty standard concert video. The band plays music and we see them play the music. While the CDs have songs from a performance in Manchester, the DVDs are of a concert in Tilburg. The first disc is the first song. Yep, it is over 81 minutes long. Of course, this is prog rock, so that one song is actually played in 12 parts. The second DVD is 6 songs which take 143 minutes to play, ending with a cover of an old Genesis song from 1971.

The second disc also contains a few extra bits called "Stranger Jams" featuring Mike Portnoy doing random stuff.

In the end, this is a concert DVD, and about as exciting as most concert DVDs. You listen to the music and you watch the band. Boring, but it gets the job done.
