This travelling band of midget wrestlers makes for an astonishing pseudo reality show. Lead by Puppet, the troupe goes from city to city and gig to gig, performing their own brand of over the top antics that have to be seen to be believed.

Puppet "The Psycho Dwarf" owns and runs the company. Little Kato "The Dwarf Destroyer" is the veteran of the group. Beautiful Bobby is Kato's long-haired brother known for his high-flying style. Turtle is the rookie of the group and the fellow emcee. Madd Mexx is known as "The Immigration Sensation". Teo is the smallest Extreme Athlete who causes the most problems in the group. Spyder Nate Webb is the only tall guy in the group and also acts as an announcer.

In the first episode, Kato is nearly killed during a mishap at a promotional warm-up show where they are forced to fight without their custom ring. And in nearly every episode, the boys mess with Turtle as a hazing before he officially joins the group. They play any gig they can get, from a Bear Party to a Southern Pride festival, from sharing the bill with Mexican Luchadors to a frat party, and fighting in a ring set up on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

When I put in the disc, I expect to hate it, much like I hate nearly every reality/documentary show I've ever seen. But something about the ragtag group of misfits and the professionalism with which they approach their work (one episode specifically deals with the difference between midgets who wrestle and wrestlers who are midgets) endeared them to me. I probably never would have sought this out on my own, but now I find myself hoping they get a second season.
