Rejoin the Stargate Atlantis crew again as they embark on dangerous adventures across the galaxies. Season 3 brings both old and new enemies alike, creating one action packed season.  Having only watched the original Stargate film way back when, I didn’t know what to expect. Well it turns out that Atlantis is a whole lot better than the movie. The thing that gets you hooked into the show is the characters. There is Colonel Sheppard, Dr. Weir, Dr. Beckett, Ronon, and Rodney just to name a few. Each is very unique and as the season progresses, you become attached to them. The episodes themselves are great as well. Some can be a little confusing but once you watch a few, you won’t want to stop. Each one is filled with action, drama, and usually a few jokes thrown into the mix.

The special features are great as well, and believe me, there are a lot of them. There is the usual audio commentary and pictures along with some featurettes. Each disk contains some special features that relate to the episodes you just watched. Some of them go behind the scenes while others look at the characters. You are definitely going to get an experience no matter which feature you watch.

Season 3 of Stargate Atlantis is packed full of stuff to the brim. You should definitely check it out even if you’ve missed some past seasons. With the fourth season just beginning, there is more than enough content to satisfy any Stargate craving you might have.
