ORIGINAL STORY:
James McAvoy let it slip in an interview with Heat Radio that Alan Cumming with reprise his role as Nightcrawler for X-Men: Days of Future Past. He joins fellow X2 castmates Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, and Shawn Ashmore in their roles from the original X-Men trilogy.
McAvoy mentioned Cumming when talking about the cast of Days of Future Past. You can listen to the inteview in its entirely below. The mention of Cumming comes around the 4:40 mark.
X-Men: Days of Future Past acts as a sequel to both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: The Last Stand and will feature mutants from both storylines. In the original Days of Future Past comic storyline, Kitty Pryde mind travels back in time to warn herself and the X-Men of the dystopian future ahead in hopes of preventing it. The plot of the film hasn't been revealed yet, although Peter Dinklage has signed on to play the film's primary antagonist.

I love X-Men, but.....
This movie seems to be getting more bloated by the day. Dinklage will likely be playing Dr. Bolivar Trask, the man who created Master Mold and the Sentinels.

Proceed with caution
If they can handle everyone's screen time properly I think we'll be alright with so many characters. I think I stand for everyone when I say that no matter who Dinklage plays, he'll be fantastic.

I don't know why they returned the series to Bryan Singer when Vaughn knocked it out of the park, reinventing it without rebooting it. I'm not impressed with 70% of Singer's work.
