COMICS ON THE SMALL SCREEN:
Season 3 is getting closer and closer and I’m getting more and more excited. That would be season 3 of the Walking Dead coming out on AMC on October 14, 2012 at 9/8c. I have high expectations for this season and I’m expecting that they will be met and exceeded. Considering that issue #100 of the comic that just came out on July 11 is still out selling the majority of comics out there, even the reprints are sold out where first printings of other titles are still on the racks.
So far the Walking Dead has impressed me with how good it’s been since coming on air. Season 1 was of course great because it was a new style of show being aired on televsion, from having Frank Darabont producing to realistic looking zombies, I mean walkers. Before season 2 started I had fears that the show might be like others similar where the show is fresh, new, with all the parts fitting together to make a great show was only because it was fresh, new, and different. But I was wrong in my fears because season 2 turned out to be just as good as season 1 and with a season finale that was so freaking awesome (there was swords). And with that I expect season 3 to be just as exceptional and here are a few reasons why.

Plot: All I know is that the meeting of original Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Ultimate Spider-Man/Miles Morales is coming to an end. How will Peter get back to his universe? What will he leave Miles with? What will Miles take/gain from this meeting? I’m sure it will be great however it will end because so far the first 4 have been great.

Plot: We finally get the story of what Bruce Banner has been doing over the last issues where he’s been forcing the Hulk to gather items for him. Sure it’s short, just this one issue, his exploits aren’t covered in any detail, but we do get them and Banner is finally shown.
