R&B singer Jill Scott celebrates her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as her fourth studio effort, "The Light of the Sun," debuts atop the list with 135,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan.

She's been notching hits on the chart beginning with her 2000 debut, "Who Is Jill Scott?," rose to a No. 17 peak the following year. Since then, she's released three more studio albums, a live set and a collaborations collection.

Right behind her at No. 2 this week is folk rock act Bon Iver, who sees its self-titled second full-length album take a bow with 104,000. This marks both its highest-charting set and best sales week yet. Fronted by singer/songwriter Justin Vernon, the Bon Iver's previous high-water mark came when its "Blood Bank" EP debuted and peaked at No. 16 with 23,000 in 2009.

Adele's "21" holds at No. 3 with 101,000 (down 12%) while Jackie Evancho's "Dream With Me" falls two to No. 4 in its second week (77,000; down 52%). "21" spends its 18th week lodged in the top three of the chart while its cumulative sales rise to 2.43 million. It continues to reign as the U.S.' top-selling album of 2011.
 
Country singer Justin Moore's second full-length album, "Outlaws Like Me," debuts at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Country Albums chart with 65,000. The runner-up on the Country Albums chart this week, Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party," slips five rungs on the Billboard 200 to No. 10 with 40,000 (down 22%).
 
Last week's No. 1, Bad Meets Evil's "Hell: the Sequel," also falls five slots to No. 6 (63,000; down 63%) while Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" dips four to No. 8 (49,000; down 27%). Sandwiched between those two is a new arrival from Pitbull, as his "Planet Pit" starts at No. 7 with 55,000. It's his second top 10 set following 2009's "Rebelution," which debuted and peaked at No. 8. His new album was preceded by the set's top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles "Hey Baby (Drop It To the Floor)" (featuring T-Pain) and "Give Me Everything" (featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer).

Rounding out the new entries in the top 10 this week is "Weird Al" Yankovic who earns his highest charting album ever as "Alpocalypse" laughs its way to at No. 9 debut (44,000). Led by the single "Perform This Way" (a parody of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"), the album surpasses his previous career-high peak with his last studio set, 2006's "Straight Outta Lynwood," which debuted and peaked at No. 10.

Over on the Digital Songs chart, Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" fends off the advances of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera as the former holds at No. 1 (226,000; down 4%) while the latter pairing's new "Moves Like Jagger" debuts in the No. 2 slot with 213,000. The latter single premiered on the June 21 edition of NBC's "The Voice," where Maroon front man Adam Levine and Aguilera serve as coaches to the singing contestants.
 
LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" (featuring Lauren Bennett & GoonRock) is pushed back a slot to No. 3 (212,000) despite its 1% sales gain while Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" slips a rung to No. 4 (187,000; down 7%). Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is stationary at No. 5 (170,000; down 9%), Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" slides up one to No. 6 (169,000; up 13%) and Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" falls one to No. 7 (149,000; down 1%). Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem" falls four slots to No. 8 (141,000; down 26%) and Lil Wayne's "How to Love" moves 9-10 (130,000; 1%).
 
Making a big jump into the top 10 is Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight," which zips 14-9 with 137,000 (up 41%). It's the sixth straight weekly sales gain for the song, which concurrently bullets at No. 12 on the Pop Songs airplay chart.
 
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending June 26) totaled 5.92 million units, down 6% compared to the sum last week (6.30 million) and down 2% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (6.07 million). Year to date album sales stand at 149.12 million, up less than 1% compared to the same total at this point last year (148.42 million). It is the fifth week in a row where year-to-date album volume is greater than the same time in the prior year.
 
Digital track sales this past week totaled 25.29 million downloads, up 1% compared to last week (25.11 million) and up 17% stacked next to the comparable week of 2010 (21.57 million). Year to date track sales are at 635.35 million, up 10% compared to the same total at this point last year (575.96 million).
 
Next week's Billboard 200 competes with the same week in 2010 when: Eminem's "Recovery" held at No. 1 for a second week (313,000; down 58%) while The-Dream's "Love King" was the top debut at No. 4 with 58,000.
