BIG NUMBERS

With a gross of $72.5 mio., it had the biggest three day opening ever for a Universal Pictures beating The Lost World: Jurassic Park

The Fast and the Furious movies have had an interesting progressions.  The first movie was probably the weakest story of the bunch but it gets credit for being the first.  The second had a great story but not quite enough car racing.  The third was just fun an different.  Now, the cast of the original returns for what is arguable the best of the bunch.

QUALITY:
Good.  The picture isn't quite perfect but it's close.  The sound is clearly lossless.

BONUS FEATURES:
Digital Copy, short prequel 'Los Bandoleros' directed by Vin Diesel, featurettes.

The short film, 'Los Bandoleros', is extremely boring and pointless.  It is pretty much there to drive the point home that gas is a rare commodity, but it really comes off as a pointless arthouse flick.  The bonus feature to "create" your own car is also boring and only allows you to change 5 small things on a car to "customize" it.  The "garage" allows you to look at a few of the cars from the movie and the gag reel is pretty decent.  The Special features aside, the movie is well worth the purchase if you are fan of the franchise.  Huge car races, decent story and a slew of things you have never seen before.
