FlashForward

Imagine the entire world blacking out for exactly 2 minutes and 17 seconds, all at the same time. What occured during this moment of darkness, people witness what would be happening to them 6 months from now. This is FlashForward, ABCs new sci-fi drama.

The first thing you'll notice is that the show is heavily similar to LOST. It begins much in the same was as the fellow ABC cohort, with a close-up on the main characters face after he has survived a terrifying catastrophe. Wondering around the wreckage about him are screaming people in search of help. Sounds very familiar doesn't it?

Then begins the long and confusing process of figuring out what just happened. Aside from introducing you to the cast of characters, the first episode delves into many of the flashforwards presented during that crucial two minute period. Admittedly, it starts off a bit slow buy by the last half hour, it has you hooked. 

When LOST ends it final season next year, FlashForward is going to be the show to watch. The characters and their relationship between each other, unknown to them at the moment, is bound to keep the audience interested. Even some of the predictions in the visions are beginning to come true in the first episode so expect FlashForward to be fast paced and probably full of twists as well.
