Word on the grapevine is that the second season will have its cast gutted. Who do you think didn't make the cut?
As soon as Smash hit the tube I knew I was going to become the shows biggest fan. It’s got Debra Messing from Will & Grace, (the outrageously beautiful and talented) Katherine McPhee, Jack Davenport, who many will know from his Pirates days and whom I know from his hilarious Coupling days, and so much more. So it’s a show about a Marilyn Monroe musical trying to get off the ground from a group of misfits lead by a bankrupt divorcee, and two singers trying for the coveted roll. I never found the appeal of Monroe, but it’s all about the drama, the music, and a good underdog story.
The season one DVD is packed with all the episodes from the season. No annoying purchases in volumes. Another awesome perk is that you get a digital Ultraviolet copy. Adding to the package is the special addition of never before seen musical numbers. Despite having big plans to watch the show, like all television, I didn’t. It’s all new to me. However, to those who watched and loved the show, it’s a bonus. Other special features include deleted scenes, a gag reel, and behind the scenes features.
