The third season of The Big Bang Theory was the best it's ever been for the series. The season features guest appearances by Lewis Black, Wil Wheaton, Danica McKellar, Yeardley Smith, Stan Lee, and many others. Whether you understand all the geeky references or not, The Big Bang Theory is one hilarious show that everyone will enjoy.
QUALITY:
The picture quality is sharp and the audio is decent as well. The show is presented in 1080p with a 1.77:1 aspect ratio so it's perfect for those with massive flat screens. Even if you've watched the show in HD when it aired, you'll still notice an increase in quality. Nothing quite compares to Blu-ray.
BONUS FEATURES:
Take-out with the Cast, Set Tour with Simon and Kunal, and Gag Reel.
The Take-out and Set Tour features are presented in high definition and are great to watch as you get up close and personal with the cast. Unfortunately, the Gag Reel is only in standard definition but is still funny nonetheless. It would have been nice to see more than just three special features but at least they are three worth watching.
Overall, The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Third Season is a riot to own on Blu-ray (or any format for that matter). The show itself is superb and although it could have used more special features, what's available is fantastic. With Season 4 just not starting, now is the perfect time to catch up on this great show.
