A poor orphaned girl is made an offer by a beautiful enchantress to have the life she has always dreamed of with one catch; she can never fall in love and if she does it will end in bloodshed.  Years pass and Kunlun, slave to a general, lives he life only to serve his master. Even if this means posing as him and saving the king when his master is injured. Except it doesn’t go quite to plan and Kunlun kills the king in order to save the beautiful princess. The general, the slave, and the princess are now all tied into a love triangle that can never happen or is there away to get past what fate holds?

This movie was quite a disappointment. When we got in press photos for it I thought it looked stunning and sort of like Dynasty Warriors the game. Instead what I got was beautiful costumes, a few unique camera shots, some very bright colors, and not much else. The story was extremely weak and the acting did not help carry it to any new levels. When it came to the fight scenes there appeared to be very little choreography involved and that the actors where not trained in any way as the lack any fluid motions. There is also some CGI thrown in which looks almost cartoony. They do include 7 additional scenes which do not look any better, a making of, and the trailer. For me the only thing that this movie is worth is a pretty background picture on your TV just be sure to turn down the volume.
