The Rock Collection (The Rundown, Doom, The Scorpion King)

When Vin Diesel broke onto the scene years ago with Pitch Black and The Fast & The Furious, the action crown was his for the taking.  Sylvestor Stallone was all but gone, Arnold Schwarzenegger was already knee deep in politics and nothing stood in his way.  Then a wrestling star known as "The Rock" burst onto the scene as a CGI character in The Mummy Returns and completely trumped Diesel, complete with a symbolic "hand off" from Arnold himself in The Rundown.

QUALITY:
The Rundown is gritty.  Doom is dark and shadowy.  The Scorpion King is crisp and clear.  It works for The Rundown, not so much for Doom.

Overall, The Rundown is a fantastic release in quality and bonus features.  Doom is an ok release in bonus features and not so good on quality.  The Scorpion King is a great release on quality and horrible on bonus features.  This set is a mixture of so many different styles of action, quality and bonus features that it makes it difficult to grade all as one.  But, if you are a fan of The Rock, it is all good fun and worht the buy.
