Clint Eastwood was hard at work in 2008 with this daunting and hard hitting drama and with Gran Torino, in which he also starred.  The better of the two is definetely Gran Torino but the acting in Changeling really takes the crown.

QUALITY:
Ehh.  The picture is a little splotchy which could be a purposeful thing to add to the feeling of the movie.

This is likely not a movie that you will watch over and over again so purchasing it on DVD would ultimately be a financial choice you would have to make based on how much you actually like the movie.  I would suggest renting it first if you haven't seen it.  But, if you do buy it, I would probably just go with the cheaper standard edition as the blu-ray quality is lost on this release.
