A conductor and two passengers find themselves in the possession of a box after a mysterious passenger dies in their midst. What’s inside is just as shocking as what the three conspirators decide to do with the man’s body once they’ve decided they will divide up the contents and go their separate ways. However, things go wrong quickly when the box uses its pull to turn not just the three conspirators against one another but anyone who looks upon it.
QUALITY: The first thing I noticed about this particular BLU-RAY is that its capacity only reaches 1080i which is top television quality. The picture isn’t terrible but if you’ve seen any program on television in HD you’ve seen this quality. Definition isn’t as sharp as it could be but its pretty close. Audio was a bit weak and I had to boost the surround sound to get a good theatrical sound going in the living room.
BONUS FEATURES:
Over 50 minutes of bonus features but they are only good to you if you were intrigued by this flimsy tale, which I was not.
* Night Train: The Making Of
* Cast, Director, and Producer Interviews
