With Halloween coming up soon parents will be eager to get their hands on entertainment products to liven the holiday spirit. The Garfield Show Spooky Tales is a great choice as it takes on an Outer Limits/Twilight Zone feel for kids who want to see something spooky without being scared. Included in the mix are robots, time travel, vicious beasts, and things out of this world. At only 72 minutes it makes for a perfect view right before the kids head out the door into the fun and fright filled world of Halloween.

Frank Welker (Scooby Doo) gives voice to Garfield in these six episodes of The Garfield Show. In episode one, Orange and Black, a vicious beast is on the loose and when Garfield is mistakenly captured in its place its up to him to return home to make sure the beast doesn’t eat John and Odie. Episode two, The Robot, is an unlikely alliance between Garfield and Odie when John brings in a new robot house cleaner who has its sights set on the duo. Episode three, It’s A Cat’s World, pulls Garfield into a parallel universe where Cats and humans trade places. Is it Garfield’s greatest dream realized or worst nightmare? Episode four, Time Master, has Garfield in possession of a watch that can stop the world dead in its tracks and allow Garfield to be master of all he survey’s but is their a downside to his new found power? Episode five, Virtualodeon,  has a TV that goes beyond 3D and allows its inhabitants to physically come into the real world. When Garfield becomes trapped inside their world John and Odie must find the sets creator to help them rescue Garfield. Finally in episode six, Mastermind, Garfield is mistakenly shipped a device that allows him to hear other people’s thoughts. Putting it on Garfield discovers an alien plot to kidnap the universes greatest pizza.

Bonus Feature is a collection of shorts.
