SANTA MONICA, CALIF. (September 8, 2008) – Delve into the dark, mysterious world of a deranged serial killer as Genius Products presents the intense psychological thriller Anamorph on DVD December 9. Starring Academy Award®-nominee Willem Dafoe (Upcoming in Daybreakers and Fireflies in the Garden, Spiderman, Platoon), Scott Speedman (Upcoming in Adoration, The Strangers, Underworld: Evolution) and Clea Duvall (“Heroes”, “Carnivale”), the suspenseful DVD will be available for $19.95.

In the gruesome vein of highly disturbing films such as Seven and Saw, Anamorph is based on the concept of anamorphosis, a painting technique that manipulates the laws of perspective to create two competing images on a single canvas – deformed image that appears in their true shape when viewed in some "unconventional" way.  Director Henry Miller (I Remember You Now…, Quitters) takes this artistic concept to a haunting and terrifying level by weaving together a tale of horrific murder and mystery.

A seasoned NYPD detective (Dafoe) is drawn into a gruesome case involving a string of unusual serial murders, perpetrated by a killer who fashions himself an artist. Haunted by the killings, he soon finds himself confronting his own deadly past. With each slaying, the investigation takes a different, darker turn. And the nearer he’s drawn to the murders, the closer he could become the ultimate victim - or take the fall.
