The Black Eyed Peas has gained a lot of popularity in the last few years and now they have put out yet another CD that will allow that popularity to grow even more. The Beginning by the Black Eyed Peas continues with their normal style of the pop/hip hop/rap style music that has made them popular. This is their sixth album that they have released and with the The Beginning Deluxe Edition comes with 3 bonus tracks ‘The Situation’, ‘The Coming’, and ‘Own It’. With one of the songs, ‘The Time(Dirty Bit)’ it’s their rendition of the song ‘I’ve Had the Time of My Life’, used in the movie Dirty Dancing.

With the Deluxe edition of The Beginning there are 15 tracks on here that are all party style mix songs. The songs are fun to listen to, the beats are well, upbeat, there’s a lot of energy to the songs, and have the same sound that The Black Eyed Peas always use with their songs. I do enjoy some of them, it’s hard not to when the songs have that fun sound to them. Listening to them gives that feeling like going to a party or just coming from a good party.

Learning the lyrics to the any of the songs would be easy since they are easy to understand and easy to understand. Though it’s also easy to hear the sound mix that has been done to them. It’s not that bad where it hampers the song but there’s still enough there that it can be heard. Aside from that one bit I have to admit that I didn’t dislike listening to The Beginning. It’s the fun and energy that the songs have that make the worth listening to. Also it’s nice to have a frivolous song to listen to every now and then that has a high upbeat grove to them.

One of the things that I did notice though with some of the songs that did discredit them some to me, is that some of the beats to the songs are not theirs. There’s the first which I already mentioned, ‘The Time’, and then there is also their song ‘Love You Long Time’. If you don’t hear it give the song a good listen to the keyboard rhythm that’s at the beginning. It’s played throughout the whole song. The song ‘Love You Long Time’ has a sound of the song ‘Give It Up’ KC and the Sunshine Band. This is one of the things that annoys me with songs is when they use sample beats from other songs or some of the lyrics and then throw them in with some of theirs and calls it a new song. It’s not new to me, it’s using another songs sound or lyrics to make their own sound better and that’s what’s happen with the Black Eyed Peas and some of their songs on The Beginning album. If these songs wasn’t on here I would have enjoyed this album a lot more but because of this reason I just couldn’t get fully into the songs.
