This suspense drama starring cinema greats Humphrey Bogart and Barbara Stanwyck (in their only onscreen pairing) is a film noir about the madness of an artist hell-bent on his pursuit of lust.

This is one of the worst releases I have seen in some time and it is for so many reasons.  All of season one (30 episodes) was released in one set for $39.98.

In San Joaquin Valley during the 1870’s there is one family that stands out as the wealthiest, the Barkleys.  With Victoria Barkley as head of her family they own gold mines, groves, log
