Title: Dead Snow Edition: 2 Disc Special Edition Genre: Action/Adventure, Horror, SF Allnighter Starring: Vegar Hoel Director: Tommy Wirkola Studio: MPI Home Video Runtime: 92 minutes Release Date: February 23, 2010 Format: DVD Discs: 2 MPAA Rating: Rating: ( )Grade: A+ Bonus Features Behind The Scenes, Make Up Featurette, Original Theatrical Trailer, Teaser Trailer, Madness In The North, Madness In The West, Outtakes, VFX, Burning The Cabin, The Sounds Of Dead Snow A group of medical students head out to the wilderness for a weekend of drinking, sex, and extreme snow sports. While waiting on another member of their party to arrive, the group makes themselves right at home and start to unwind. Then an unexpected straggler arrives with odd ramblings of the woods being unsafe and strange stories of Nazis’ past. They attempt to get him moving as fast as possible and once he leaves they think nothing of his stories. That is until people start going missing. This movie is awesome. One of the best zombie movies I have seen in a long time. It has the right mix of violence, gore, and comedy. The deaths are fantastic and there are things in this movie that I have never seen before and would never have imagined. I don’t really want to give much away but hanging by a zombie’s entrails off the side of a cliff while fighting another zombie is highly entertaining. On top of that you even get musical montages of zombie killings. Still not sold? Well if this doesn’t do it for you nothing will. Scene: Yes that is totally deserving on some Nazi zombie coming and pulling her ass through the outhouse. If you are a fan of zombie movies, there is no way that you cannot see this movie. It has to be added to your collection and I’m sure it will become a favorite. I loved it and will be watching it again. *Only reason it did not get a perfect score is because I either had to watch this dubbed or subtitled and I'm lazy when it comes to reading during a zombie movie* |

Best Zombie Movie in a looooooong time
Whereis Zombieland was great the zombies really weren't the focus of the film. Dead Snow is part cabin dwellers and part zombies. So awesome. Love all the homage stuff in it like the evil dead homage in the shed, especially loved the Arnie impersonation lol. So crude, funny, violent, gross, and everything you could ask for from a film.
